For the newbies - welcome! - Aftershocks is a fanfic series that I have been writing for years. Each story is a TAG to a SG1 episode. You don't need to have read all the stories to understand the series as a whole (so you can read the Grace TAG as a stand alone, for instance) but if you do want to check the rest of them out:

I'm always so afraid of accidentally pulling an idea from someone else's fic that I tend to wait to read stuff that might give me a sparky idea. My loss of good fic!

Hello everyone, it has been a while, catching up on the "pirates", lots of fun. Sitting here quietly, trying not to get my Blood Pressure up watching the Final Four! Wonder who Jack would root for? Me, since I am from VA, of course VCU, but they are currently loosing! I think since Jack and Sam are together in Washington, DC, rooting for VCU might just be on their radar. Anyway, just wanted to say hello friends!

Hmmm... There's no more beer in the house??
OK, very lame, I know! (Although, probably no more lame than switching the sugar and salt -- or is that cliched? ).

As you can probably tell already, I'm terrible at pulling pranks or telling jokes (I always manage to somehow mangle the telling of the joke), although I'm told that I'm fairly witty, so that makes up for it, I guess!

I hope everyone had a good weekend! I was so glad when the weekend finally arrived. It was a long week with a sick hubby and kids (one had pneumonia). So happy that's all over, and now I'm looking forward to a fresh new week with a healthy family.
