It would've been interesting if Jolinar would survive and remain with Sam, at least for a bit.

I've been reading that one in last few days, in my free time. I'm curious how that one will end up. Considering it's not finished yet. But, I still have plenty chapters to read, I'm currently at 11th. So, hopefully I'll read slower than the new chapters are released

I've been reading it as well, but I often miss when a new chapter is posted and it gets difficult to find after a few days, when the story moves a few pages back. I see it's at chapter 65 - I think I've read to chapter 58 or so. Which means I have several chapters I can read tonight

I and some others post links to all Tok'ra (and Goa'uld) related fics I/we can find in this thread:

I've once read one nice Tok'ra fanfic - when Jack turned into Tok'ra, struggled and then grown to like the symbiote, so later, when he finds out the symbiote was killed he greatly mourns him, which is how the story ends as well. It was nicely written and I've grown to like that one. Too bad I lost link to that one.

I've seen a couple of those. It might have been this:

Symbiote: On a mission to destroy a Goa'uld ship and Jack is gravely injured and taken over by a Tok'ra symbiote. PG-13

                or this?

Consequences: Jack thinks he's lost Sam for good, response to challenge: Jack snaked. PG

                or perhaps this?

Mistanken Identity: Sam can tell when there are Goa'uld about, Jack can't tell the difference between Goa'uld and Tok'Ra. What happens if they're not the only ones? PG

there are one or two others, and I suspect your fic may be one of those. I can't find the link for either right now, though.

Ha - and now I found the one I think it might be.

The Enemy of My Enemy: A mission goes wrong and Jack becomes a Tok’ra. PG-13

I also found my link to a webpage with links to stories where Jack becomes Tok'ra or Goa'uld: http://rignach.livejournal.com/6893.html

Now that I'm (re)posting Tok'ra links, I'll post these as well. These are good gen stories about how the Tok'ra came to be (and one about an unusual Goa'uld):

Empress in the shadows: The story of a Goa’uld who lacked the insanity of her race, her rise to power and the birth of an empire. PG-13 (Incomplete, but updated recently)
                    http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4678383/...in_the_shadows

Turning Point: Egeria altered the genetic memory of her offspring, creating a new race. But what about Egeria herself? Born a Goa'uld, and torn between the influence of her inherited memory and the slow realization that she was living an evil lie…
Written in response to the Tok’ra Resistance summer fic challenge-2005. The challenge was to write about the early days of the Tok’ra. The very early days in this case. This fic deals with one of the more uncomfortable aspects of Egeria’s history. The Tok’ra are a different race because of their altered genetic memory, but Egeria herself didn’t have that advantage. She would have been born with the genetic memory of the Goa’uld queen who spawned her. GEN. PG-13
                    http://tokra.fandomnet.com/fic2/viewstory.php?sid=252

Turning Point: (different one) Daniel is transported into the past, where he meets a Goa'uld like no other, one who will play an extraordinary role in history. Will Daniel's presence alter the course of that history or will it lead to something he could never have imagined?
                    http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4872268/1/Turning_Point

Early Beginnings: Originally there were no Tok'ra, and all symbiotes were Goa'uld. Why did some of them change and how did this change come to be? Main characters: Egeria and Jolinar. Not femslash.
                    http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5093866/1/Early_Beginnings

Birth of a Rebellion. Thousands of years ago the Goa'uld were much like they
are today, save for one. That Goa'uld would travel down a path that would shake
the balance of power among the System Lords and ultimately lead to a rebellion
                    from within... PG

Heh - and some more gen fics:

walked right out of the machinery: http://rydra-wong.livejournal.com/80615.html
Stargate SG-1 season 6 AU. The one where Ba'al's Jaffa got there thirty seconds faster.
There is no "both of you," he wants to say; it doesn't work like that. PG-13

Surprise: http://tokra.fandomnet.com/fic2/viewstory.php?sid=638 This is slightly odd, humorous. A dig in UK uncovers a stasis-jar, containing a Tok'ra queen-symbiote. One of the female members of the expedition becomes her host. The archaeological team does not know about the Stargate-project. They are surprised to find strange objects, some of which seems Egyptian in origin. They contact Daniel Jackson since they know of his interest in 'cross-cultural pollination'. Takes place after "The Ark of Truth", sometime during the middle of SGA season 5.

Brothers in Arms: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1527676/1/Brothers_in_Arms O'Neill finds himself in desperate circumstances with the Tok'ra Malek. Imprisoned in Osiris' lair on a Goa'uld world, they must escape from behind enemy lines.

The Petri Dish: http://tokra.fandomnet.com/fic2/viewstory.php?sid=631 The last surviving members of SGC, as well as three Tok'ra, and a few Jaffa flee the advancing Ori forces. This is the story of their experiences. SPOILERS: Takes place around season 4 of SGA, before the Ark of Truth.

And one background, mostly gen fic except for Rosha/Jolinar/Martouf/Lantash ship in the last chapter (which is NC-17, rest of story is PG/PG-13). First chapter is kinda boring (IMHO), but then the story gets interesting (again IMHO...)

The Fall of Setona: When the Tok'ra learn that the Goa'uld Nephthys wishes to subjugate a planet that has been free of the Goa'uld for centuries, they decide to intervene. Pre-series. Takes place about 25 years before 'The Tok'ra I & II'. Link can be found just under half-way down on this page: http://tokra.fandomnet.com/fic2/view...0d1c03d3243883

I really loved the Tok'ra city in SG: Continuum... it shows that they no longer live in the tunnels, but emerged on the surface...

Did you notice the pyramid? Do you think it is something that was there from before, or do the Tok'ra build pyramid's as well? They do have a common past with the Goa'uld, and there is nothing inherently evil in a pyramid.
