ChopinGal, you were really "on" this evening. Your pics were hilarious, and thank you for remembering me. I loved the oven, it's exactly what I need, really....I'm not kidding. Was just hinting to hubby tonight, hey, think we need a new oven??? I'm very subtle when I hint.

Need to make it an early night. The oven is still hot from my preparations for the feast of the 4th!!! And I won't forget.....bratwurst!

neither of them have the time to plan something large and ostentatous. small and intimate is the way to go

i feel the same on all of it.

I just had to pop in for a quickie.....not that kind of quickie...really.

I have 2 boxes of green jello now! I looked up and there they were. My thanks to everyone who gave me green....(grins like an idiot). See, it doesn't take much to make me happy. I don't feel like a newbie any longer.

LOL, I'm so sorry bout the pictures of the house and pool. I was showing a friend the pictures of the new puppy and decided it was easier to add pics of the landscaping job to my yard on the site as well rather than email them to her. I totally forgot I had posted the site and people might be looking at them. I promise to keep things more OT in the future. I just couldn't pass up showing you my new puppy. She's really a sweetie (though you wouldn't believe it by the way she is whining at the moment.)

Below, please peruse, at your convenience, the 6 "special" occasion cakes and pick which one you think would be best for Sam and, er, um, you know who. I want to be prepared, should the time come when we need it. I hestitate to call it the Pick the Wedding Cake Contest, as it might jinx the deal, so how about the Great Cake Pick?

Hmmm, this is a difficult choice. I'm torn between no.5, as the whole darn relationship has been somewhat "unusual", but if it does come to pass, it will be a "fantasy". Choices, always choices....number 2, I think. Now, is it chocolate or vanilla cake based?

Samandans were kicking up their heels while waiting for the imminent return of their Queen ....

Royal Head of Security and his able assistants were on top of the situation, and hired additional security patrol for this special night of reveling and frolic ....

The high point of the evening was the unveiling of the six celebratory cakes which Royal Chef had created.

It was hoped that one of these cakes would also provide a future backdrop for the Queen and her not-so-secret admirer. Every Queen deserves a King, especially one who likes cake!
