I have been thinking about Sam Carter while away though ... and writing some original Stargate scripts of my own.
This is a three-parter sequence; start at the top. You'll need high-speed and speakers for best results. I haven't had access to S10 but do hope that this season is more fun and a happier blending of old and new cast members. In the meantime, this was my take on S9 ...
You know, I think you're right! I wouldn't be surprised if there are some penguins lurking in the background too.
I may now be banished forever from Samanda for my point of view ... so I think I'll peddle my movie over at the Jack/Sam Family Shippy Thingie thread too.
That was really great CG!

well the article i wrote, the interview is to come
beware spoilers for s2 and 3
O.K., I am so jealous! Did you get to interview him in person or was it by phone? To stay on topic, any chance you'll get to interview Amanda while you're in England?
Now, does anyone here have the latest mag with MS and AT on the cover yet?
ETA: My very first fic on ffn is called "A Life Less Ordinary", and it's here.
Kudos on the fanfic, newest Samanda Scribe! I'm off to work but will read it tonight!
Congrats to Sky too ... I love Jamie Bamber!! Wow, impressive. And, yes, you should speak to Julia, GABIT2 Director, about possible interview with Amanda while you're there.
Which magazine has the AT article and cover?! My new town is so small that I doubt they have some of the sci-fi mags here but will search a bit.
I was thinking of a question I'd like to ask AT if I ever went to a convention. I wonder what her view of directors is. Does she prefer a director to just let her do her thing or does she want a director who is more of a collaborator and advice giver? They have some directors that seem more concerned with the acting and some that are pretty technically oriented and I imagine that the technical ones don't pay as much attention to the acting. (At least that's the impression I get from some commentaries.) Just a thought...
Based on the commentaries on the DVDs, I would have to say that she must enjoy working with Martin Wood. And for when she's ready to drop into her immature mode (with three brothers, you know she must give as well as she gets), Peter deLuise must be entertaining.
Personally, I could do without the toilet humor....
