    Sparky--definitely bring camera with you. Be careful you don't get caught making video, though--almost got my butt tossed out doing that.

      Video making was encouraged at all the panels we were at except Karl Urban who specifically requested no moving pictures. Stills were fine. MegaCon left that decision up to the panelists.

          I've always loved con videos on YouTube. Much more fun being there in person, but the vids are fun!

                Most cell phones have video recorders now. They work just like still cameras. Short of that, all you need is a camcorder - no skills necessary. Video editing now, that's a whole 'nother ball game.

                  My phone's not that high tech. It has a camara, full keyboard, and that's about it!

                    Sparky do take your camera to the con you are going to.

                    I have to admit that some of the pictures I have of Chevron 8.1 weren't taken by me.
                    But I will post a couple soon...

                      Likewise. The girlfriend that went with me took much better pictures than I did (and more of them). I'm hella short - just about 5'2". She's crazy tall - knocking out right at 6'. Naturally, she could see A LOT better than I could. Also, and I hate to admit this, I don't really know how to use my cell phone camera. I still kick it old school though I have at least switched to digital.

                          Victory is mine!

                          When I woke up this morning I had an idea how to get the bike up to the balcony and it's standing there as I type. After brunch I'll start cleaning and prepping for the primer and then I'll have about two hours (IIRC) to do other stuff before I can add the other paint.
                          Unmade Plans (WIP: 11/20):
                          Sam's life takes a turn in an unexpected direction when she's faced with an unplanned pregnancy. The decision to keep the baby and raise it on her own will alter her life forever. Relationships are put to the test, especially the one between her and Jack. She doesn't know what to expect from him and he surprises her at every turn.

                          My S/J fics can be found on FFnet and AO3. I also tweet and tumble about the ship and my writing/stories.

                              In about half an hour I can apply the colors onto the primer, so I'm trying to decide which parts have to get which color. I'm so not creative, I'm not sure how it'll turn out!

                              I'm also making 'sun' dried tomatoes but I kinda screwed up there, because I wanted to make bread as well but the tomatoes have to stay in the oven another 3 hours at least.
