OT story what happened:

I was in my room and suddenly Tim got home and walked into my room asking where the receits were...I said I threw them away...so he started with "I need them and you need figure out what to pay" etc. I told him that Iwouldn't pay for the party etc. He said that suddenly he didn't expected me to and that I should have called him about it and not pull conclusions...etc etc.
Then he said that the food I purchased for Thijs and me was more expensive than that for him; I said nothing else was left and he doesn't eat "cow meat" so I bought other stuff for him. Then he wanted composation(sp?) for those days he wasn't here...I said why because it's for the house not for us as individuals but for the group...and when one doesn't eat with the group your loss...
He got back at me with all kinds of personal issues and telling me I was greedy, whined about the money etc. Then I said that our personal money had nothing to do with the household money...he started again about gifts he bought in surprise earlier with some money that was in the beginning meant to be for the household money(we have to pay rent to our parents normally but in this case could use it for our food etc) ...I again said that had nothing to do with the parties and household money...or my personal thing about paying for him to the movie theatre(sorry but I don't earn 1500 euros like you per month(net) I just have to live on the weekends I work)
In the meantime I started to get teary(thank you PMS goddesses ) and he just kept personally assaulting me...
A little while later Thijs came upstairs and walked to his room and Tim started to ask him what he thought about it and Thijs said I was doing well with it and he shouldn't whine...so they got in a fight(AGAIN) about me...which I felt bad about ...
Then Tim started to me again that in the years when I was younger(15 till 17) when he had the money he always made sure we got enough to eat and all(erm...we still are getting enough to eat) anyway I told him that my life was different than his(he already worked full time on my age) and that it's unfair to judge me like him at the same age and that I Don't have as much money to put extra in the household wallet so that we just have to cook more dinner and don't go out and if he wants to eat expensive we just have to look if it's possible or not...
Oh and before I forget I also told him that dad called and I asked him for advice about it...he got angry at me and told me I put him in a bad daylight with the parents now because I had said he had given a party and demanded money back...I also said I asked about if I needed to cover the extra expenses of his GF living almost full time in here and him needing to buy other food for her...dad said no to me...Tim got angry at that too because he could also eat for free at her parents place it would be unfair for her to pay now...
As last I said that dad also asked to me which friends there were on the parties(because some friends aren't allowed) and I said I told him that the employees of him were here...mybrother said it were his friends and got angry to me about telling that to dad too, I told him I didn't lie to my father when he asked me a question and was jus giving him the message that my father had said he didn't want his employees at his home(private and business seperated) ...bro said that if he lived on his own he would have also invited them etc etc...I said that this was not his home but the one from mom and dad and that we still needed to listen to their rules even when they were gone...
In the end it went on and on...and I did everyting wrong, Thijs just had enough of the "catfight" with Tim and locked himself on his room and Tim left and said he would be home tonight to watch a movie but he just came home and went to his room to go to sleep instead...
Really are those two 26 years old or still little teens? *headdesk*

Sounds to me like your brother is mostly just resentful that you're the one who's been entrusted with the money and not him, and it's never easy as an older sibling to have a younger one kind of in authority over you. It's not easy for you to deal with though. Families can be difficult things at times 
Hopefully he'll think it over and back off a little until your parents get back, and in the meantime, feel free to rant at us if you need to get things off your chest!
