I think Ellie has a double ear infection. That is the only reason I am up at 2.30am with a crying, feverish child. Think 1 eardrum has perforated, just waiting for the other one to go and then I can probably get back to bed......

It was fantastic to have Jumble and Cags and Ben visiting and to eat Anderson's pie and desserts at my new table in my new home Next time there'll be lots more Woohoos, ok?!

Finally got back to bed at 4am, unfortunately I was up again at 6.30 because the cat doesn't understand either weekends or the fact that I am sleep deprived and was crying for her breakfast!

Ellie's still asleep, so hopefully will be feeling better when she finally gets up. Although knowing how this goes from previous experience there will be gunky yucky stuff - both eardrums appear to have perforated, again! And probably some degree of deafness for a few days

Secret Santa 2013

Welcome to the Martin Woohoodstock thread's Secret Santa for 2013!

How it will work:

1. Sign up using this form! You have until SUNDAY 24th NOVEMBER to do so. If you want to join in you *must* sign up by this date.

2. We need to know who you are, what fandoms/shows/ships you like so your Secret Santa knows what to make. We will also need to know what fandoms you're willing to make stuff for so we can try to pair you up with someone you have something in common with.

3. SS allocations will be given out as soon as possible after the 24th so you have time to get to work. You can make as much as you like, and it doesn't have to be art - fanfic, vids etc... are all welcome! As a minimum for example though please try to make at least one sig/avi set.

4. Please PM your gifts to SARAI by Friday 20th DECEMBER! Do not send them directly to your SS recipient - Sarai will distribute all the gifts over the weekend of 21st/22nd December so that everyone gets them at the same time and in time for Christmas.

5. If for any reason you realise you won't have time to make anything after all, please tell Sarai as soon as possible, and at the latest by Friday 13th December so that we can try to find someone else to make a gift so that your recipient doesn't miss out.

Poor Ellie. I had that happen to me so many times as a child. Absolutely no fun.

Just done the obligatory GP visit.
2 perforated eardrums caused by middle-ear infection in both ears.
To be fair it has been over 2 years since the last time she perforated her eardrums, before that we had almost 3 years of pretty constant ear infections (after having grommets) followed by Myringoplasty (an ear drum repair operation) because 1 of her eardrums had so much scar tissue on it it wouldn't repair by itself.

On the plus side I've gotten a day off work!
