A flat white is stronger and less milky than a latte, and silkier than a cappuccino. When a jug of milk is steamed it has different layers. The really frothy stuff on top is good for cappuccinos, but the really silky smooth stuff with the nice texture is further down. It was developed in NZ or Australia (a bit of contention there ). Of course, that is a flat white done well I hope costa coffee and that are doing them ok, because they are so good!

NZ has an awesome cafe culture, especially Wellington- we have more cafes and restaurants per capita than Paris We are a city of amateur coffee snobs. One of the baristas at my favourite cafe was just named Wellingon barista of the year. Yay!

Oh, and I also love tea! This shop is right near my work https://www.tleaft.co.nz/
I hate to think how much of my student loan went on tea and coffee. Sigh.

The first time I heard my Aunt order one, I thought she was ordering a glass of wine. During the day. Between business meetings. But nope, just my happy introduction to the world of amazing coffee.

My best friend likes playing with photoshop, that's how I got mine. There is actually a thread somewhere with lots of friendly folk helping each other make Sam/Jack pretties. You could go learn heaps, or at the least make friends with someone who will offfer to make you one

        Found it http://forum.gateworld.net/threads/5...-family-thread

            Hey everyone,

Long time no post. Sorry I haven’t been around for a while college got pretty busy, but I am on my Easter holiday/vacation so I thought I’d pop in and see how everyone is doing. I am very excited and pleased to hear about February.

So what have I missed while I’ve been away?

Two questions for our wonderful G4 ladies.

Is there a dress code for the SE meet and greet?

Can multiple people be in a photo op?

              Thanks!

I think the dress code is white tie formal.

Nothing much, just a date for AT5.

Dress code: no t-shirts referencing surviving Canada! Since AT4 I think pants are no longer a requirement.

Thanks to Pengyn, SamJackShipLover and Mala for the sig.
