What's up with Jennifer's make-up in this episode?

It's not fashion, it's just an eye for changes in people's looks. Jennifer generally doesn't wear that much make-up. After an entire season of this not happening, she all of a sudden getting tons of it leaped out at me and slapped me in the face.

It was so obvious because it was so unusual.

I must be really unobservant then as ive watched "First Contact" twice and didnt notice anything different with how Keller looked at all.

I noticed the change in hair, makeup and fighting skills. It still did not raise her character's esteem in my eyes. I just can't get into her character. I guess as a Teyla fan, they seem to expand Keller at the expense of Teyla.

I was wondering what happened to Staite's look this episode. I thought it was just the hair, but her look was different overall. Not that I'm complaining, she looks fine.

Except for the most part its the girls who notice and the guys dont. I for instance never notice things like makeup and hair styles.

I know that but I'm sure the guys at LEAST notice that she looks more attractive to them.

I doubt it. She's got a noticeable additional amount of make-up on. We've seen her in all kinds of lightning and we've never seen her with that amount of make-up on.
