Season Five : Compliments and Praise Thread

They tried to re-make cartoons like Transformers and TMNT. Failed horribly. I own some classic DVDs of like Transformers. Brings back a lot of memories. I am not sure how old you are but I know a lot of people on this thread grew up with the original Power Rangers. Of course that was past my generation.

Oh, I grew up with Transformers & The TMNT. I still haven't seen the movie.

MMPR... Also sounds *vaguely* familiar.

'Tommy,' the first Green Ranger, has a wife, an ex-wife and 3 kids now, I believe. Lol.

But on to Season 5: it ROCKS!

The third film has a few funny moments but is a bit of a let down to the first 2 IMO.

I still have to watch the DVD, lol.

Brian, with the single exception that I'd place 'The Seed' with 'Whispers', that list is identical with mine.

Season Four is still my overall favorite, but Five might push it by the wayside eventually, sure. Still, I've only seen about half of Three (it's the only season I haven't seen every episode of, though) but from what I've seen, it's close to Four. It's just that I hear all about those Lucius episodes and cringe without even seeing 'em, haha.

Hmm, at least "The Seed" gave us some more possible info, even if it still needs to be confirmed (do we have to wait for Infection? I don't see it happening before that?)

We could just say the last 2 seasons are very, very good, and get it over with.

You know what they say, there is nothing like the original. Some of the cartoons they come out with now are dreadful. I am only interested in Family Guy.

what about The Simpsons and American Dad?

Makes you wonder about the Stargate Franchise. SG-1 was great and classic, SGA will be the same, but can SGU follow these footsteps? Well lets hope so.

Friday's ep has to be huge. I mean bigger than BAMSR and like "The Storm/ The Eye".

Anyway, after next week, I am going to summarize what I thought about the first half of Season 5. Right now, Season 5 is tied with Season 4 as my favorite season. I think after the mid-season that could very well change. So lets hope.
