I can't wait for the MGM trailer for First Contact. This episode should be so great.

You know what they say, there is nothing like the original. Some of the cartoons they come out with now are dreadful. I am only interested in Family Guy.

Same. Well, occasionally I've tuned into American Dad (same creator).

Makes you wonder about the Stargate Franchise. SG-1 was great and classic, SGA will be the same, but can SGU follow these footsteps? Well lets hope so.

Not with psychos and senators' daughters looking to have a party on the other side of the universe it can't.

They tried to re-make cartoons like Transformers and TMNT. Failed horribly. I own some classic DVDs of like Transformers. Brings back a lot of memories. I am not sure how old you are but I know a lot of people on this thread grew up with the original Power Rangers. Of course that was past my generation.

Well I never really was all that well immersed in cartoons. I was just drawn to Family Guy for the satire, and originally The Simpsons for the same reason but I found that Simpsons jokes didn't make me laugh like Family Guy jokes so easily did. BTW I haven't seen the original Power Rangers.

Family Guy has been successful because it takes pop culture and utterly spoofs the heck out of it. There were so many things that happened in real life, but one thing they got to quickly to spoofing was the whole Ashley Simpson incident on SNL. They did a hilarious bit, lol.
