Well, I did too, but I always kind of had a feeling that they might put Amanda in Torri's spot. But it's not the same situation here. Woolsey doesn't have near the Stargate profile that Carter did - he's a minor character at best (he's only been in 12 episodes if you add both shows together). So I don't think he'll get the same consideration.

I could be wrong. Guess we'll see.

But he's quite a well thought of actor. Quite high profile for scifi - or certainly within the scifi genre. That's why I'm not sure. Fame wise, I think he's better known by Joe Public than AT is, and that seems to count a fair amount in the showbiz world.

Probably months. OK, but isn't Beau Bridges also supposed to be a rather well known actor? And he got the last spot on SG-1, well, right before Michael Shanks.
