What will be interesting is how they will balance Weir and Carter if they are both in the show at the same time, there can only be one boss in Atlantis surely?

Also, I havent' seen SG1 for a while and the last time I did, Carter was apparently seeing Jack outside "work" as he had retired or semi retired. If this is the case (Please tell me if I have the wrong end of the stick) why would the Carter be happy to go to the Pegasus galaxy? Just a thought.

Another thought is maybe they are trying to make the show more "female heavy" rather like Voyager was when Seven arrived. You had the strong trio of Janeway, Seven and B'Elanna maybe they want to make it Teyla, Weir and Carter?

I cant wait to see how this all plays out! There should be some great interaction between Carter and the rest of the cast. And Im hoping for a bit of tension in the first few eps. Just until they realise that carter is there for the good of the expedition and she can do an amazing job!

Agreed. I doubted that she would want this position, so being ordered to go adds more realism.

So far I'm pro Carter on Atlantis.

I not too happy with the fans who don't think Carter will be a good leader before she actually does - it's a bit too premature for making those kinds of Judgements

I totally agree with you, I am looking forward to seeing Sam on Atlantis, but I also hoped to see her interact with Weir.
