What will be interesting is how they will balance Weir and Carter if they are both in the show at the same time, there can only be one boss in Atlantis surely?
Also, I havent' seen SG1 for a while and the last time I did, Carter was apparently seeing Jack outside "work" as he had retired or semi retired. If this is the case (Please tell me if I have the wrong end of the stick) why would the Carter be happy to go to the Pegasus galaxy? Just a thought.
Another thought is maybe they are trying to make the show more "female heavy" rather like Voyager was when Seven arrived. You had the strong trio of Janeway, Seven and B'Elanna maybe they want to make it Teyla, Weir and Carter?
