    Was watching with a friend and we both agreed Fran bore more than a passing resemblance to Elizabeth. Ahhh the angst. I bet Elizabeth would have objected more than a little to Rodney having made her, not that I think her overall response would be any different to Carter's but he'd so have gotten lectured on it.

    Oh yeah and why is there not yet an dark/angsty/kinky RepLizCator M/W fic?! ;P

                    I think his ring buying is a overcompensation to try and hold on to Katie. He's losing everybody he cares about (first Carson then Elizabeth, and remember Jeanie almost died too), and he must feel that if he asks her to marry him then maybe he won't lose Katie too.
