Excellent point. And I have to say I disagree with him as well. (I know, he's the one playing the character so he should know Rodney better than anybody, but I just don't see it.) <shrug>

Well, its an interview right, maybe he was misquoted or it was a typo?
You never know besides it sounds so off from anything I've heard from him.

Not that I'm complaining because I like the relationship between these two, but I think it would get awfully stale if it stayed the way it is. I'm hoping this means more depth and growth in the relationship.

Well, we probably have more than a year before it would seem stale, but eventually it *would* have to develop or fade.

Growth would be so nice. I am very tired of TV shows where all there is is destruction until all that is left is a bunch of characters who would be fools to trust each other. But they're still together because, well, it's the *cast*.

I have no problem with drift. Drift is natural. Likewise cooling and warming is natural. It's the breaking of bonds and then insisting no, really, they're still all in this together that makes me realize the writers have stopped caring and it's time give up on a show.

I got my issue of the Stargate Magazine yesterday. Boy did that make me feel better (a very nasty cold). Not only did it have a nice interview with David; but also a centerfold of MCKAY!!! Yea! And I cannot wait to see Duet. David said that he went around kissing everybody in the episode. He called it the Kissing Bandit episode. David was also talking about how Cadman was in his body and he said: It's McKay's body and who would want that. And I just started saying to myself: "ME ME ME, THAT'S WHO"!! I'd be the first in line. The mag. also had a brief look at some of the new episodes ; they sound like good ones.

Thanks to everybody who posted a birthday greeting and for your lovely "presents"! I swear, I wasn't prepared for that and so I didn't know at what to look first! So many yummy Rodney pics... Heaven! Thanks, thanks, thanks, you're all wonderful!
My birthday was rather unexciting this year because I have a cold and an oral exam tomorrow. But now I come here and see those lovely pics - wow, you make me feel better already! That will contribute to a relaxed sleep and sweet dreams tonight, I'm sure!
