I didn't notice the scruff during the episode. Far from my favorite ep plot wise, but I'll have to watch again to fully appreciate that scruffiness.

I have to admit that even I didn't fully appreciate the scruff until the second watch. It was so faint, that little 5 o'clock shadow

I blame Time Warner for not carrying SciFi in HD. Bring on AT&T Uverse! We're getting it just in time to watch the finale in HD. Yay! McKay in HD! I may faint from the hotness.
