I'm going to the Vancouver one next year. DH isn't expected there (MS is, so an old skool squee for me ) so it will be fun. I never ever thought that I would go to a convention, but here I am. The 1st reason why is that Vancouver is driving distance from my house. It's 3 hours by car; not bad at all.

I always used to make fun of those who went to conventions. But in the past 2 months now, I have met (On line, of course) some very nice people who are also going to the same convention as I am. It took me about a month of tossing and turning while deciding to buy a ticket. Now, I am glad that I did. I'm almost more excited to meet other people who want to talk 'Gate with me (None of my friends are into the show and keep making RDA jokes at me, for some odd reason).

I also seemed to notice that, at least those that I have met who are going, is like 90% female. I know the precentage of women who dig 'Gate is high, but I am excited to know that I won't be one of the only token chicks at the con.

If you look at h0rrid's profile, you can see David has watched 164 videos. I wonder what he looks at? Oooh, he last logged in an hour ago. I could have sent him a message (yeah, like I would!). The internet is a dangerous place, all the stuff it keeps about you.

Yeah, the internet can be scary. Google for your (nick)name and you'll find lots of interesting stuff you've long since forgotten about.

But it can be interesting for others, like us, especially when it comes to DH's profile at youtube. 164 vids? I wanna know what he looked at, too. *g*

And now we also know when he was online.

Wow! In 7 hours, David got over 5000 more viewings and another honor.

Quite impressive! A big response! Good for David/ADB.

Oh. Ok, thanks for the explanation. I for my part know nothing about youtube. I only watched a handful of vids there yet (including ADB stuff), that's all.

Hmm, so it's the number of people who subscribed to his vids. In this case I would have thought that the number would be higher.

No it is how many he has faved himself, 165. If you click his username it takes you to his profile, there it tells you what vids he has put up and what vids he has faved... I assume he has watched a lot more then he has faved.

I have only faved 4.

Hi all!

I wanted to swing by to say hi even though I'm supposed to be working! It's great to see the frenzy over ADB and happy to read that our man has updated his site

I've been reading some of the comments and just wanted to add a couple of things:

Good luck and have fun at the SG11 con Arlessiar! One of my friends is also attending that and I'm sure you'll have lots of fun. Paulie is a sweetie! I gave Rachel to sign the Starcrossed photo and she was highly amused (especially when I commented on his blond tips)

Watcher - I know exactly how you feel about the cons. I've been waiting FOREVER for Joe to visit my city and he's finally coming... but I'm not going to be around! It turns out that in my haste to see David next year, I'll end up missing Joe! You will have fun with David Nykl at the next con though - I was extremely impressed that he remembered me from last year when I saw him last weekend. In fact he remembered a lot of people from last year.

And to make it legal, here's a pic - not mine of course but I haven't uploaded any caps on to PB lately.

No, I'm not going to SG11. That one is in London, also at the Thistle, right? No, P2 will still be my first con abroad. I'm going to wormhole2, which is a small con in Germany, not far from where I live. That's mostly why I decided to go there. One con where I have to book a flight to get there is enough for such a short period of time.
And yay for small cons!
