And mildly off-topic, but winners for this year's Isis Awards have been announced. Please don't shun me.

Coming out of lurkdom to say I just read your fic and it's wonderful! I, personally, never saw much of a Ronan/Weir possibility. They are so different! But this fic made me see the possibility. Plus, I loved the ending. You can take the girl out of the Sparky, but you can't take the Sparky out of the girl!

Specialy Lizzie, Teyla was looking at Weir like she had a grudge (maybe because she destroyed the perfectly planned ship? ). Seriously she threw the people around a little, and then turned to Weir with that look on her face like she'd had in for Weir for some time, like saying "now, i'll show you who's your mamma biatch" .
And what a sheyla episode , lots of eye-sex... between Sheppard and Weir, Sheppard worried about Weir's peace of mind, going after Elizabeth to check on her after Teyla has been possessed by the wraith .

Not to mention the fact that John was...let's say uncomfortable in the briefing when Teyla was a bit nasty to Elizabeth...and later chose to remind Teyla about her behaviour.
The Gift IMO was a very Sparky episode. And I've been watching the Season 1 DVD's way too much lately...

Melyanna, any R/W fic that has that much Sparky is all right by me. Noone could ever spork shun you. We all know Ronon sees the Sparky. He's a very observant guy. Oh, and since noone has "claimed" Teyla he can make his move.

Well, it's good to know that I won't be thrown out for that fic. I'm not actually interested in seeing a Ronon/Weir romance, but I find their relationship interesting because they're just so different. And I do think that if John were to walk in on a scene like that, he'd react in a... curious manner. I did actually intend it as a gen fic with inklings of Shep/Weir and Ronon/Teyla, so I'm still monumentally surprised at how people have interpreted it.

Know what you mean SR. As I get get older I care less what people think of me and just do my own thing as long as it doesn't hurt anybody. If you're "a dirty old lady", then you have very good taste indeed!
