Awesome Teyla episode and the first time we meet with Kate. Brilliant interaction between all the characters and everyone has something to contribute. A lot of other characters also are around, and there's the feel of impending doom leading up to The Siege trilogy.Heightmeyer's Lemming -- still the coolest Lemming of the forum
Proper Stargate Rewatch -- season 10 of SG-1

Spoiler:John became visibly more relieved before continuing to Elizabeth’s office. She smiled as she looked up at him.
“I heard you needed to see me. Soooo, what’s up, Doc?†His grin was almost ear to ear. Elizabeth’s eyes rolled before she responded.
“I have asked you repeatedly not to say thatâ€
“That’s true, but your lips always curl up like you’re suppressing a smile when you say itâ€
“I suppose I should be grateful that you don’t say it in front of anyone elseâ€
“It’s just between you and me†John grinned again, before moving to sit on her desk, adding “It’s out little secret. Now, what did you want to see me about?â€
“Stargate Command had a message for us when I dialled in for the weekly status report. It seems that...............â€
The conversation continued for good few hours, with both Sheppard and Weir going through the files the SGC had sent them. When Teyla came into the control room, on her way to New Athos, she noted how cosy the pair of them appeared as they both looked at something on the large screen in Weir’s officesnuggles up next to herstands beside her and asks her doesn't she hate it when someone interrupts just when you're getting to the good part. LOL and SQUEE!

I hate to say this, but he could've played while Teyla sang (fandom probably would've gone supernova after that). Maybe Joe can't play the guitar?? Or maybe that would've been too huge a character moment?
Now for my homework: thumb p0rn
Spoiler:
and Day two: favorite episode
First I would have to say Vegas, baby. My favorite episode of any show of all time in the history of the universe.
Of the regular shows it would have to be Echoes for the perfect balance of screen time and ships and the most romantic moment in the series. And whales. Plus golf. And added points for thumb p0rn.

Day 1: Your favorite character
John Sheppard.
When I first started watching Stargate Atlantis , it was John who I immediately started to like. His personality was very laid back even though when times called for it he turn into the military Commander John Sheppard and got the job down when it was needed to be done. He was able to command with a cool head and was able to keep even Rodney McKay in line which is no small feat.
My Favorite Moment of John's was when The Wraith were attacking Atlantis and he decided to take the puddle jumper with the genii nuke on board to destroy one of the two remaining wraith hive ships. even though he knew it was going to be a suicide mission, it showed me that this was a man who would sacrifice himself to defend the people he came to respect and serve with.

Day 2: Your favorite episode
Tao of Rodney. It's funny and heartwarming, and almost the whole cast is well utilized. It has John flirting (like Southern Red was just saying ... you really need to look over her shoulder there, John? To read her viewscreen of Ancient that you can't read yourself?) Ronon is adorable ("Can I shoot him now?"). And it has Elizabeth/Rodney friendship that I love. Besides, I can't help but laugh thinking of David Hewlett reading the script and on getting to the mind-reading part thinking - wait, now I have everyone else's lines too?!

Oh and let's not forget John's little "'Lizbeth made me" moment. Do you really think anyone could have made John Sheppard fill his room with candles and try to teach Rodney to meditate if he didn't want to? Especially since the "pansy wannabees" had obviously left such a bad taste in his mouth.

In fact TOR is one of the best Sparky episodes, not so much for shippiness but for everyone to see how much in synch they were. Joined at the hip much?

Anyway, my answer to the meme.
Day #2 - Favorite episode
This would be an incredibly hard pick. Just like SR, I have two answers. predictably, one of my favorites, of all time, is Vegas. It finally gave us more of John - not the things he's capable doing, not his heroism, but what he is/could have been. I remember the Vegas discussions back when it first aired (siiiigh, I was so happy then!) and I remember someone (SR, was it you?) said Vegas!John was like a glove turned inside out. I took that metaphor and stretched it a little saying, that's what our John could have been. One difference between Johns, and quite obvious one, is Atlantis. Vegas John was never given a second chance. He seemed cowardly at times, he'd done ton of morally dubious things within the span of 40 minutes on screen, but at the end, and just like Vegas!Rodney said, just like other AU Johns, vegas!John had the same core. There was something distinctly heroic about him, even when nobody saw or witnessed his heroism. I will never forget Eri's comment (think it was on LJ) about vegas!John (paraphrasing it here) - he's a perfect metaphor to SGA itself - full of potential that was unused, he died unseen (and might I add, in dirt). A wasted hero whose life was thrown away, he definitely shared SGA's fate.
Among regular episodes, I'd chose Critical Mass. It has plot, tension, humor, entire cast doing something significant, it has fabulous character development for pretty much everyone. Laura Cadman is in this episode! The plot thickens and then it twists. Teyla sings. Elizabeth makes a hard and dubious decision, and John backs her up 100%. There's an awesome Sparky shippy moment at the end, there's Zelenka with a painted face and Kavanaugh faitns. Have I forgotten something? *G*I'm not weird, I'm limited edition.
