Thankfully, no. It's so cold I would never even try to stay in the house without power!!


Just been busy the last few days, and sad a few days before that. But times are looking up again.

Good to hear. It's cold here too. Our low on Tues (I think) was 1°. Broke all kinds of records. It's soared all the way up into the 20's by now though. Balmy.

LOL! I think that's the first time I've ever heard temps in the 20s referred to as "balmy."

When I was in NY, -5° was bearable. Now that I'm back home in FL, 50° is freezing. *shakes head* I'm so disappointed in myself. LOL

LOL You sound like my SIL. She lives in South Florida and freezes if it's below 70.

It's 51 at the moment, supposed to get up to 65 today. I love Southern California. Needless to say, when I move up to Washington, I'll be spending winter indoors. (Except when it snows, then I'll go out and play in it.)

Same in Moscow, you know. Last year it was usual -15°C or even colder and plenty of snow everywhere, and now...

I am not a fan of winter and cold, but this weather-swap sucks.

But I think we'd all agree that the product of snow and cold temperatures, ice, is definitely worse.

Last day at this high school. Back to my old one tomorrow. It's bittersweet. But I'm excited.

I have a feeling I'm not going to need my winter tires any time soon.

The only time I came in contact with black ice was in Ireland, and did a bit a 180 with our tiny car at the time. Was both fun and scare all at the same time.

After a few days of below zero temps here in Ohio I'd call temps in the 20s balmy too.

You'll change your mind after you shovel enough snow.
