Hello Dell Looks like it's just us here now...not much different from usual at this hour though.

No, not much has changed....but I have a serious lack of caffeine in my system. was a 2 hour wait for lunch....note to self (and others) when picking a day to go for lunch with the old folks, don't pick Valentines Day!
I didn't have time for a coffee afterward!

I quite forgot you were a day ahead because tomorrow's Valentines' day here...

for me it is just a Thursday....but the table next to us were a married couple...but they weren't married to each other....Mum really should have been listening in on them!
Also, the shop didn't have the shoes I was looking for!

The only thing different about tomorrow from any other Thursday for me is that one of my professors promised to bring us donuts to class tomorrow so I am quite excited

Aw that's no good then ...I found that the soles are peeling off of my favorite shoes and my favorite boots aren't waterproofed anymore, so the suede is thoroughly ruined on them. *face palm*

I need a good pair of walking shoes before I go away....we tend to walk everywhere in foreign cities.
Walked all over surfers Paradise and Broadbeach on the Gold Coast of Oz, and All over Sydney twice!

We are much the same way, even cities in this country...when Dad and I went into NYC, we took a train to the city and walked around the city all day. When Mum and I went all the way out to St. Louis, Missouri, we walked all of St. Louis except when I convinced her to ride in a horse-and-buggy back to our hotel one night because I liked the horse

No, she was the surgeon, a nurse helped her.

I took 4 marines with me, I wasn't on my own.

So all that is left of the house is a blackened hole, what wasn't blown to dust, burnt in the resulting fire afterward. There was almost no trace of anything left....and that small amount is gone now too. The out buildings were all clear....I don't think the bomb was meant for us, it was their was of cleaning up...we were just going to be a bonus for them.

- I've just decided I don't like bonuses.
