Here it is. His whole tone is off. He sounds a completely arrogant jerk. Starting a sentence with "Look .. blah blah" is just asking to get your face punched IMO. It isn't polite. And just reading a little of that first interview, he just contradicted himself. In that he says SGA was doing well but you don't wait until it's doing badly before pulling the plug. But in this latest Q&A he says the ratings were down. So which is it?Comment

SG-1 was good and new enough to run for 10 seasons and you also have to see that if Sci-Fi hadn't wanted to take SG-1, then there would only have been 5 seasons, too. I can't blame him. 'Making' a show is more business than fun and to be honest, I'm happy not to be the one who has to make the tough decisions.

It's so funny. In a german Sci-Fi forum, people believe it would be best if they made the whole SG programm public. Because with all this technology, starvation and poverty could be defeated.
Am I the only one who doesn't think like this?
I mean... with all this power...don't you think, too, that in the end all this technology will be in the hands of one person who only wants money? That's how humans work, I thought.
I'd rather have someone have TEH POWER (the US in this case) without knowing about it, than see someone using that power without being able to do anything against it.
