'You can't touch this...' would be right, and who'd wanna if they put Wraith in those things? Now I need brain bleach for the visual in my head, A_T_S. All I can see in my mind's eye is a line of our gorgeous boys dancing to 'Hammer Time'.

Saw something in my GW WDC update about the platform Shep was standing on to be interrogated, but I can't find the posting now. Many months ago, it was also pointed out how the 'feeding' part of the feeding hand was represented symbolically throughout architecture such as the thrones of the Queens, as well as that interrogation platform.

They seem to honor their iratus heritage with their aesthetic choices. Their long coats have the dark exoskeleton look, the long coat tails billow around like wings, and their sleeve epaulets look like the layers on the spines of iratus bug tails (link). The oval shape on the back of the iratus has also been echoed in the belt of the drones (link) and on the platform Sheppard stood on to be interrogated in The Hive (link).

The feeding slit motif idea is cool for the intimidation factor for humans and also a not-so-subtle reminder for the queen's subjects to keep in line.

This is true. It could also be an important symbol to Wraith in other ways because feeding slits = food and the gift of life.

Go to the link for the Stunt Reel or Fight Reel. Scroll down the page until you see a grey bar with controls on and then click on the little triangle thing. It took me a while to work out why I wasn't seeing anything when I went to those pages.

I get the feeling, during the year I've been gone, some of the Wraith names have been changed. And about the Hammer pants...I, too, now need bleach for that mental pic.
