Now, it was nice that they accommodated her in real life, but I wonder how much of her original, baby-free stories got the axe to make room for baby. And I wonder how much better those baby-free stories might have been.
And I'm very worried about how TPTB will handle the baby story. Adding a baby into a show, even if it's just for one ep, rarely goes well...

Originally posted by ToasterOnFire View PostI've been hoping for this for a while, but I've given up on the whole thing after TPTB dumped Weir because they couldn't figure out what to do with her. It wouldn't surprise me if the same thing happened to Teyla.

I'll also chime in with those pointing out that it's a bit late to suddenly be giving Teyla character development that she should have had years ago. Although one hopes (however futilely) that this missing past development wouldn't have centered around her reproductive organs.

So is it me or are there others who wouldn't be too upset if there characters are picked off one by one? Except of course Sam."The Clarke Postulate - One's ability to correctly explain advanced theoretical thermodynamics as applied to string theory within a fictional context is directly related to one's ability to cook the perfect lemon chicken with mushrooms in a nice garlic butter sauce. While some use this unexpected correlation as proof of intelligent design, I believe that its all about the person's choice of mushrooms.
I also believe that there is a tear developing in the space-time continuum which if left uncheck will allow Microsoft to become a world power. I suspect that unless we all download Firefox 3 on the same day, thus sealing the tear, that life as we know it may be over and children will have their teddy bears and blankets ripped mercilessly from their arms.
