Over the last 6 months or so I've been having problems with my radiator. I've replaced every part *except* for one(that has NOT gone out, yet). So Saturday night when I was driving home and my "check coolant" light came on I was a little peeved.

Like I said its somewhat funny. Well, one night I was talking to Kassandra about Kavan (among other things ) and one of the talk topics was if Kavan would ever play a gay role. Well, LITERALLY the next morning, there is that certain thread and Lorne was leading (even though at that point there weren't as many votes as there are now. So me thinking that it hilariously fit in with what I was talking about, I voted Lorne!!

Yes, I do recall that conversation. It was very odd. Much like the time we were discussing something else(can't remember what off the top of my head) and then within a few days it was a topic *here* without either of us bringing it up.

Now why does that sound familiar?

Well, Joe Mallozzi said that someone in the Stargate Universe was gay and a poll has been made, 40 % though Lorne was gay. Which Kavan now knows about We who doesn't think Lorne is gay are the 60%

Yep, it's from the tv verison of Titanic starring Catherine Zeta-Jones and the much better version if you ask me. It's my favorite Kavan movie.

Well, I just made a visit to my favorite shopping site - Amazon.com - and picked up a copy of Titanic. Of course the Kavan version!!! For $5 I figured - what the heck!

Okay, recipe:

Spoiler:

150g flour
50g grated almonds
50g grated coconuts
2 TS baking soda
2 TS cinnamon powder
1 ripe banana
100ml (neutral) vegetable oil
2 eggs
100ml maple sirup
250g buttermilk

Mix flour, almonds, coconut, baking soda and cinnamon.

Mash banana with fork, mix with oil, eggs, maple sirup and buttermilk.

Mix dry and wet ingredients, put batter in form, bake for 20 - 25 minutes (180°C)... et voila

If anyone wants me to convert the metric measurements... just ask

See I'll simmer quietly until I get to a breaking point and then next thing you know I'm verbally beating the tar out of somebody. My friends also worry about me because I'm so nice and giving and generous to a fault.

As of early this morning I am off work for the rest of the week - doctor's orders. The very least I have is a severe bronchitis, but they also tested me for pneumonia (just to be on the safe side - or so they say). X-ray didn't say anything one way or the other. Now all I need is to pick up a bunch of meds this afternoon and then go on suffering. I do so hate being sick.

I think I finally learned the art of saying no (like this: "hey, do you want to run for the youth organization executive committee?" - "err... well... maybe... err... no." *one year later* "do you want to run for the youth organization executive committee?" - "err... still no, thank you." *another year later* "do you want to run for the youth organization executive committee?" - "NO I STILL DON'T WANT TO RUN WHEN WILL YOU GET IT DAMMIT!" - they STILL keep asking, every damn year )... but then again... no, I didn't *thinks of all the stuff which means work she said yes to in the last few weeks

Well... most of all, it makes the DVDs cheaper I think. One of the reasons why DVDs in Germany are much more expensive than in the UK is that they always have to do a German audio track for them. I still can't believe the Season 3 box cost 90€ here... (I paid a third for it at amazon.co.uk...)

*nods* exactly. See this is where my twitchy shoulder I mentioned becomes my downfall. Thankfully it has only gotten me 3 positions of power this year the CLE/CWS committee(which was the thing saturday), the Island version(which is in march) and then Executive Committee, which I was basically on anyway, its just *official* now(2 year term one meeting per fiscal quarter that I had been attending anyways as they were usually held in conjuction with my CLE meetings)
