    I was rewatching Rising the other day and realized that this was very funny. From the Gateworld transcript:

    (As the marines lower their weapons, the man stands up. He is much taller than anyone else. He helps the boys to their feet, then turns to Sheppard, gesturing to himself.)

    HALLING: Halling.

    SHEPPARD: I don't know what that means.

    SUMNER (sarcastically): It's his name!
    Sumner's--or should I say Robert Patrick's--delivery is perfect!

        I have two where I'm giggling the whole time!

        One: Ronon try to learn McKay how to fight! McKay is so funny and I'm so sorry for Ronon, poor boy, needs someone to fight! *giggle*

        Two: Todd is coming to Atlantis and have to work with McKay in one room, boy that was hilarious ........ *laugh*

          This is my fav too. I happen to love Carter's face as he says it. Not only doesn't she bat-an-eye but she even gives him a little smile for his joke.

            for me the most funny moments are Carson´s turtles in The Return (season 2) and Duet (also season 2) - the whole episode... I love Carson´s and Rodney´s scatches lol and their kiss is really surprising...

            and of course Zelenka´s czech comments :-) it´s really funny to hear him speaking czech among english sentences - especially when I can understand him what does he says in czech ROFL

              Funniest comment, anyway, was from The Shrine in season 5.

              McKAY: Look, this isn't one of those P.B.S. brain surgeries where my skull is wide open and we're having a conversation?

              KELLER: I have enough anaesthetic to put you out. You're not gonna feel a thing.

              McKAY (plaintively): It's probably a hammer!


              I laughed every time I thought about it through the rest of the episode

              There were so many funniest moments but this stands out for me.

                  i like the part in season 1 cant remember which episode but rodney goes: "hey i got a little...
                  aiden: hey mckay you got a little what?......(john looks at him) what! so its ok when you guys make fun of me.

                  i love that cracks me up every time
                  and in the very first episode when rodneys trying to get carsan to work the drone chair and carsan goes: i think i feel something....it could be lunch related.

                          I think Atlantis has been the most funniest scifi show since Red Dwarf. I have many favourite funny moments, also including Duet. The last season was different. I found most of the episodes upsetting and had a dark edge to them.

                              I love the scene in Harmony where Rodney is taking aim at the Geni morons and he is taking waaaay too long and John is doing the Husband thing where he sees the Wife doing the thing wrong way the he is getting impatient and rips the Unnerstay out of Rodney's hand and shoots.

                              The portrait at the end of the episode = awesome.

                              The Hive: The whole talk about clowns John gives is priceless
