From this sneak peek for ep 4 ( http://www.spoilertv.com/2015/01/12-...neak-peek.html) it seems that
Spoiler:cole is going to the past for good. so no more time travel?
I don't know where that will lead the story but at first glance i don't like it

My guess he goes back into past and does something make sure the base is better protected or that the attackers are eliminated back in the past.
It also possible that the time jump was much smaller and he transported back to just before the attack happens and helps to prevent it secretly without the rest of the team knowing.

Plus, the people attacking the base could get the chair working and bring him back to try to get him to do their bidding.
It will be interesting to see which way they go. I hope he's not stuck, otherwise he should have been able to help prevent the base from getting attacked in the future, unless he get's killed sometime before it all happens.sigpic

They might move it, but I don't think they'll burn it off. Haven only had 5 episodes above a 0.2 during the first half of season 5 (and those ranged from a 0.21 - 0.26, with its lowest 18-49 rating being a 0.17) and they didn't burn the series off like Caprica (yet, anyway) They're also still planning on airing the second half of the season later in the year. I really like Haven, so I don't want it to fail. I don't want anyone to think that I'm rooting for its demise or anything, just because I'm mentioning its less than stellar ratings in this thread.sigpic

In the case of Haven, it's almost as if they wanted to kill it. Putting it on against the NFL and Grey's Anatomy is suicide.
But this has been done before; 1978-79, ABC wanted to kill "Battlestar Galactica" 'cause it was expensive to make, so they suicide scheduled it, and then cited low ratings for cancellation. When a letter writing campaign brought it back in the form of "Galactica 1980", they killed that with the schedule too, by placing in in what was called "Family Viewing Hours", which is why after ep. 3, it had all the silly kid-centric stories.

The one good thing about a show getting burned off in the way that Caprica was, is that you don't have to wait a week between episodes and you can watch them all at once, if you want.sigpic
