I love the superheroes being in their own universe with maybe cameos and such, but the massive team crossovers I've always disliked.

Sorry, I felt like expressing my opinion on that.
I think the gather of the most powerful is an eventually with all comic books. I believe that this works in comics, cartoons, games but not in movies. The biggest problem with a movie comes down to screen time. I can see the script being fairly one sided though, leaning towards RDJ and Norton (either both has heroes, or each one being the main hero and villain). Screws both Chris' out from the Avengers movie.

I could see the same with thing with a Justice League movie. Bale as Batman could easily get more attention in the movie than say Routh as Supes, or Reynolds as Lantern. If Flash and Wonder Woman are done by less known actors or not high profile names, then they too could be screwed over. Bats > Supes and Lantern > Flash and Wonder Woman.

That is why I like the idea of Superboy and Nightwing. A Titans movie, with a cast of general unknowns or at least non mainstream actors would be a good thing. Throw in Wonder Girl, a different version of Flash (Bart) and another Lantern (Kyle) and easy enough.

'Green Lantern' costume to be all-CGI

Ryan Reynolds's Green Lantern costume will be entirely computer-generated, according to Slash Film.

The filmmakers behind the Warner Bros/DC Comics superhero movie have designed a motion-capture suit with tracking LEDs for Reynolds to wear on set. Green Lantern's recognisable green and black outfit will then be added in post-production by the visual effects team.

Reynolds, who is portraying fighter pilot-turned-costumed hero Hal Jordan, has reportedly been joking on set that he will be turned into an Avatar Na'vi for the finished movie.

That's a bit crap to be honest. I think it's always great seeing the actor wear the suit. It does make a bit of sense though considering Lanterns habit of using his ring to from normal clothes to his suit, but still, the suit is one of those things we want to see.

I can already see some of the DVD special features, outtakes where he "accidentally" changes into the wrong thing.

                Official Green Lantern Movie Synopsis

'Bringing the enduringly popular superhero to the big screen for the first time, “Green Lantern” stars Ryan Reynolds (“X-Men Origins: Wolverine”) in the title role, under the direction of Martin Campbell (“Casino Royale”).

In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan.

Hal is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal is clearly the missing piece to the puzzle, and along with his determination and willpower, he has one thing no member of the Corps has ever had: humanity. With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris (Blake Lively), if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax…he will become the greatest Green Lantern of all.

Campbell directs “Green Lantern” from a screenplay by Greg Berlanti & Michael Green & Marc Guggenheim and Michael Goldenberg, story by Greg Berlanti & Michael Green & Marc Guggenheim, based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics.

The film also stars Blake Lively (upcoming “The Town,” TV’s “Gossip Girl”) as the spirited Carol Ferris, a test pilot and the heir apparent to her father’s aviation company; Peter Sarsgaard (“An Education,” “Flightplan”) as scientist Dr. Hector Hammond; Mark Strong (“Sherlock Holmes”) as Sinestro, Jordan’s powerful mentor in the Green Lantern Corps; Jay O. Sanders (“Revolutionary Road”) as Carl Ferris, Carol’s aircraft designer dad; Temuera Morrison (“Star Wars” Episodes II and III) as Abin Sur, Jordan’s alien predecessor; Taika Waititi (TV’s “The Flight of the Conchords”) as flight navigator Tom Kalmaku, Hal’s good friend and confidante; Academy Award® nominee Angela Bassett (“What’s Love Got to Do with It”) as enigmatic government scientist Amanda Waller; and Academy Award® winner Tim Robbins (“Mystic River”) as Hector’s influential father, Senator Robert Hammond.

Screenwriters Slotted for Flash Movie and Green Lantern 2

I get the feeling that DC Entertainment’s movie production model’s going to resemble Marvel’s more and more as the years roll on. Case in point: DCE’s commissioned GREEN LANTERN movie screenwriters Greg Berlanti, Michael Green and Marc Guggenheim to work out treatments for a GL sequel as well as a FLASH feature (according to the Hollywood Reporter.) The trio would then write the screenplay for the title DCE selected based on those treatments. Just as the GREEN LANTERN movie's drawing from Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns’ run on GL, so too will this FLASH movie be drawing from his current take on the Scarlet Speedster - - I.E. it’ll be about Barry Allen, not Wally West or Bart Allen.

I think it needs more black in it, but I am liking it. I'm not surprised they decided to do a CG suit now that I have seen it.
