    Chuck versus the Tic-Tac

    Spoiler:
Even though the 'Casey's ex-boss is really a Ring operative' was horribly derivative, this was a pretty solid Casey episode. Not as funny as the last episode, but good emotional stuff. And Robert Patrick was great--holy cow, he's looking frickin' buff these days!

I was, however, a little puzzled at Gen. Beckman calling Casey Mr. when asking Chuck to escort him out. AFAIK the proper salutation for a military serviceperson is their rank regardless of whether they're active or not.

I really loved "Chuck vs. the Tic-Tac". It was a totally different kind of episode from last week's, but equally great.

      Spoiler:
The moment where Chuck almost killed that guy while on the emotion-suppressing drug, was actually pretty intense. I really wonder if we'll have that drug in the plot in the future.

I love the way this show throws curve balls at you. It's such a creative series and funny to boot! It did have a bit more of a certain quality to it when it first started and Chuck didn't want to be a spy. Still a homerun each week with the show but I have to say it was a bit more interesting when we saw the old "stay in the car" Chuck.

Oh one thing I forgot to mention about Tic-Tac

              Spoiler:
Even though I quite liked the episode, I was deeply upset that Morgan doesn't like the original Planet of the Apes. He used to be lord of the geeks, but that just totally destroyed his geek cred as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah. But that would get old if it continued. Kind of like Riker never accepting a promotion to Captain and command of his own ship in TNG. After awhile it just gets riduculous. For the series to continue to evolve Chuck has to "get out of the car" eventually.

As for this past Monday's episode, I thought it was excellent. Chuck's becoming a spy and he's learning what it means to be part of a team. Thought Casey's backstory was great, and was glad that he had a reason for co-operating with the Ring. Looking forward to seeing what happens next.

He still has a lot of "geek cred" IMO.

Question: I’m freaking out! Is there a chance Chuck won’t see a fourth season? In the meantime, can you prescribe some spoilers to keep sane? —Marie-Helene
Ausiello: It’s true that Monday’s ratings were terrifying, but Daylight Savings Time wrought havoc on all shows, not just Chuck. Having said that, exec producer Josh Schwartz was alarmed enough to alert fans via Twitter that “it’s time to get organized.” For now, I’m leaving the show’s prognosis at “a safe bet” on my Renewal Scorecard.
                    Spoiler:
On the spoiler front, Schwartz confirms that Anna Wu’s back! Julia Ling will reprise her role in the May 10 episode. Teases Schwartz: “She’s coming back for Morgan.”

Question: This week’s Chuck was awesome! It’s so depressing that it hasn’t been renewed yet! Do you have any spoilers to cheer me up? —Julia
                    Spoiler:
Ausiello: I have it on good authority that the season finale will feature at least one significant death. Feeling better, Julia?

Question: I desperately need some scoop on Chuck’s season finale! —Kim
Ausiello: Then make sure you pick up the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, on sale Friday. I also may tweet a hint or two tomorrow via @ewausiellofiles

'Chuck' exclusive: Finale will feature two big twists, a [spoiler], and (wait for it) a mustache!

You already know that Chuck’s May 24 season finale will showcase ear-splitting music. But what you may not know is that two-hour capper will also feature (warning major spoilers)…
                                Spoiler:
… at least one significant death, a childhood flashback with Chuck (Zachary Levi), Ellie (Sarah Lancaster), and Pops Bartwoski (Scott Bakula), and “two big game-changing twists” that exec producer Josh Schwartz promises will top last year’s. “This finale will leave fans very satisfied,” he continues, “and yet talking about what’s to come for a knock-on-wood Season 4.”

Speaking of which, Schwartz says the episode is not intended to function as a series finale should NBC do the wrong thing and cancel the show. “Much like last year, we’re putting all of our chips on the table,” he says. “We are going to drive our fans into a frenzy.”

Here are a few more “chips” to get you pumped for the big finish:

                                Spoiler:
                                * Casey’s Crown Vic returns in a big way.

                                * Chuck has a mustache in the episode.

                                * Big Mike will have a very romantic scene with a Subway sandwich.
