Yeah, that kind of sucks. Commentary on the season finale would have been really nice too.

Actually, I was quite disappointed with the commentaries on the last discs. Way too much technical stuff, and hardly anything on the actual shooting. Kripke was just prattling on about lighting and sets during some of the most emotional scenes in those eps.

BTW, in the con report from Barcelona it sounded as if Jared and Jensen did commentaries in the earlier seasons. Is that true? I have the region 2 disc set for S1-3, and only one of them comes with any commentaries (one by Kripke, one by Gamble).

They did the commentary for Phantom Traveler and also IMTOD with Kim Manners. That's my favourite commentary of all time!

Looks like you might have luck when you get the German version. Amazon says that the Blu-Ray set comes with 3 commentaries. My British version has two commentaries (WIAWSNB and AHBL P1)

Same here. I got those two, but not IMTOD. Is that the S2 set Blue-Ray set you're talking about? Not that it would be much use for me, I don't have that kind of player. Makes it even more unfair to give us some commentaries, but leave out those by Jared & Jensen, that are the most interesting ones in my book.

Sucks even more since I just remembered that I'll be missing the season premiere. I'll be away at a trade show that whole week.
