My local Vid Store go rid of their whole Stargate collection so I got all of TNG and DS9 for virtually nothing.

Ahhh but mine luckily were DVD so I didn't have to upgrade them. They just decided after buying in all the DVD's that it wasn't commercially viable and got rid of the all again. Oh well. Not complaining.

Stargate is down right dirt cheap compared to Trek.....
One season of Stargate= 34.99CDN
One Season of Star Trek= 124.99CDN (if you're lucky, they're usually more, Ent is 124.99 though- although season 1-3 of TNG and DS9 are 69.99, but it's still cheaper to buy the entire series box set for 470CDN then the individuals even with that price cut)

So for the equivalent of one Trek season you can get 3.5 seasons of Stargate (tax not counted in any of this).....Does that not sound just a little odd?
