Sanctuary Discussion (Spoilers for the most recent episode)

I had a few issues with that last episode.

Spoiler:

The two that stuck out the most were not restraining the big guy before the paranoia took hold. Given that they knew what would happen, I found that inexplicable. I also found it very difficult to believe that Helen would sanction the incursion into Cabal territory. The risk was high, they had no reconaissance info, and the mission was grossly undermanned. Now if they'd snuck off to do it, I could have bought it. Ashley's not a deep thinker, and Henry is desperate to prove himself.

I love how everyone "loves" Magnus, man-wise. Heh. She's charmed them all.

Sam had that effect, too.

I really, really liked the Five... not sure how I feel about Griffin's descendant yet..... But she was pretty cool, I wanted her little skirt and boots that she had on, totally cute.... And I LOVE that Tesla is going to be back next episode..... woot!!! Fabulous scene between Druitt and Watson, although, I did think it a bit silly that Will had to point out that Sherlock and Jack the Ripper were sitting across from each other....
It does seem that each of the five is someone completely famous from lore (did I say that right?) Sherlock, Jack the Ripper, The Invisible Man, The New Dracula, so what is Helen.... There is more to each character...

Oh and I sooooo knew it when:

They were talking about Ashley totally being an abnormal.... just because of the DNA that would have gotten passed along to her, especially with both parents contributing.... So she should either have parts of Druitt's gifts, or Helen's or maybe a combination of both....

How Ashley walked right into that trap.... she's so experienced, it totally screamed trap.... But I do want to see how it will play out....

So when's the next season supposed to start airing?

Well they aren't even in preproduction yet and they have a 29 week lead in minimum (I think that's what AT mentioned in a interview a while back) so the second season won't be out for a while.

Didn't Amanda say that they'd be back early this month to start breaking stories? (Not sure if I be misrememberin') Even if they started today it would be at least the end of July to have the first ep ready. When does Skiffy tend to start new seasons off? July/ August??

If I had to guess I'd say mid July. That way SciFi can show Sanctuary and SGU at the same day but you never know
