      We are DOOMED!!!

      100% tax?!

What was that level of economy knowledge you claim to have?
      Better than mine apparently.............

Pfff.... you pay peanuts in taxes.
      Not entirely true.
They pay peanuts in income tax, but they pay inordinately large amounts in state taxes because of it, and because state tax like land tax is not means tested, they guy on 20k a year pays 3k on land tax, the same as the guy on 200k.
They pay more -comparatively- based on their income.

      People love to complain.
      On that issue??
They don't even try to understand it.

I wouldn't have made it past the first 30s of his speech.
"What you won't hear here is lies"?
That's the whole bottle right there
4 years ago though, the economy was different than it is 4 years later. If life is more expensive, but your wage is still at that 4-year ago point, you'll spent less.
      Inflation is a myth!!!
It all comes down to that every so fascinating purchasing power:

"If one's monetary income stays the same, but the price level increases, the purchasing power of that income falls. Inflation does not always imply falling purchasing power of one's money income since it may rise faster than the price level. A higher real income means a higher purchasing power since real income refers to the income adjusted for inflation."
Stop making sense, it hurts peoples brains...........

He is popular with registered republican voters, no doubt.

Seriously though, very few countries actually embrace "trickle down economics". The USA is really the only outlier on that issue, amongst several other outliers that they cling to. The difference is, they have the population to "delay" the effects of that. If we tried it with our 1/10th the population, we would be -SCREWED-.
We complain about our system, we ***** and moan about it, but we have some of the best educational outcomes, best disposable income, are placed high on the global happiness scale and have the most "liveable city" in the world in Melbourne. We are -amazingly- well off.
          HOWEVER!!
That does mean we should not ***** and moan, we SHOULD because that *****ing and moaning forces our political parties and systems to constantly evolve or die. Society must constantly be challenged in order to improve -just like us personally-.

          I would agree with this.

If yes, they are not paying enough taxes!!

Trump's chances of winning the presidency are rather low. However, this little piece of text just made me snort a little soda through my nose:

A victory by Mr. Trump remains quite possible: Mrs. Clinton’s chance of losing is about the same as the probability that an N.F.L. kicker misses a field goal from the 20-yard line.

that's exactly the sort of 'tude that will get him elected
back then people thought Hitler had no chances either

mark this Trump will be the next US president (for once I really hope I'm wrong but I'm not)

and Hilary will be to blame if only that ***** had stepped down in favour of a real democrat like Sanders things would've been different in fact it's almost like Hilary's working for Trump

As things stand now, I expect we'll be stuck with Hillary.
But Trump has stunned a lot of people with his popularity in the primaries, and that level of support might show up at the general election, too. Among the people I interact with in RL, no one supports Hillary.
In addition, there may yet be other shoes to drop as far as her never-ending trail of scandals and the like go.

As if trump has clean hands. The only reason he could ever have less dirt on his, is because they're small.

The big difference is that Trump has no political career to hate.

But there's the issue of the $74 million in campaign funds he has just sitting around unused. Hillary is spending a lot of money on advertising. about $52 million, while Trump hasn't spent any. Relying on the free publicity his craziness seems to attract for some reason. Every scandal, every stupid thing he says or does or puts on his head and calls it hair gets 24 hours news coverage around the world..

But recently that news coverage has gone from "he could be a genius" to "he's probably insane".. So he needs something spectacular to win the crowds over again. Get them all talking about this one yuge, incredible event in the last few weeks of campaigning. Enough to at least get the undecided to consider voting for him. Spending millions every month from a year ago until now would have been pointless. And it clearly didn't work for Cruz.. or that other guy..

And remember that Hillary really needs the support of Bernie's fans to win, and a lot of those don't really want to vote for Hillary.. Trumps popularity is fading, Hillary has never been popular, she's just the "lesser of two evils" and won because the Democrat's campaign to select her was rigged from the start.. And this year has the highest number of elderly voters and millenials. And while the younger voters supported Bernie and now are more likely to vote Hillary.. we all know which age group are least likely to vote..

So that $74 million Trump has been saving.. What yuge event is he planning? He has to win over enough people to convince them to abandon Hillary, maybe tell everyone he's sorry for offending literally everyone and buy them all a present? Some yuge party that will convince them that he's really sorry this time and maybe he's an ok guy after all?

A yuge "Vote Bernie" last minute campaign to split the democrat vote enough to make his reduced appeal enough to win, even if it's by a tiny margin?

He's planning something.. He has to be, he needs to win, his ego won't let him lose.

                            It wasn't rigged.

The democratic party wasn't in favor of Sanders but also did nothing that truly killed his chances. He is simply too left for a mostly right-oriented nation. Especially since what most americans call "left" is "center" for most Europeans.
