Forgive my ignorance but what exactly is the manipulated part of this picture?

Well, without the manipulation it would look like this



So Mala let Jack an arm grow, I think and let the other guy disappear completely.

Btw, have you seen the pics of the DST 12" Jack and Daniel dolls?

I have They look awful.
Still contemplating whether or not to buy Jack (just for completion), though. It kinda depends on how many other things are coming with him.


I would have three different sizes of him, then. There are also those little pewter figures they only sell in England (always good to have friends everywhere )

Thanks for answering. The manip consisted of creating the back of his head, his arm, his shoulder, part of his chest and his lower half from bits and pieces of that clip and other pics... and of course, zatting that production assistant out of the way!

I have been around much lately - my hubby and I are downsizing - selling our house and buying a condo. Of course we are buying first and hoping to sell later. I think I'm working on an ulcer!!!

Oooh kay I nearly resorted to shaking my head but after much mucking about and getting cut off dozens of times by Aol. Little peachy is finally waving for me in my sig. Ahh my work here is done.

Well, of course it was a bit easier for you to get them! I had to call in a big favour. I only let send me Jack, though. When he arrived, the barrel of his gun was bent down a little and the paint scratched so that the pewter shines through. I fear it will break if I bend it back the way it is supposed to be.

What I like about this small Jack that he has the holster for the weapon. Looks much more like the real thing. The new Atlantis figures from DST will have holster as well, I think you even can put weapons in there.

But I don't think we really can compare the faces between the pewter ones and the action figures - when they are smaller you don't have a good look at him anyway, so of course it would be more difficult when trying to be more detailed. Plus I like that I can pose the action figures in different angles and play with them.

Well, what did I say wrong? I meant weapons and other equipment, of course (Carter, it's my sidearm...)

Though I remember that I have a few friends who where very disappointed that you can't undress the actionfigures. As for me, I didn't realize until I held my first general Jack in hands. From the pictures I always had assumed they were real clothes. As you can see, I never ever collected actionfigures before.


So there might be a reason to like these bigger ones. I wonder what we would find below, though *g*

My first action figures too. I did manage to get off Jack's vest and open his jacket.
