Hmm, no Michael Shanks in this ep. I forgot to read the credits so I kept waiting to see if he'd appear or not. I guess it's next week he's supposed to be on.

I think I read it may be April 30th now. That he got cut down to 3 instead of 4 episodes.
As long as he gets rid of Numb3rs guy I'll be happy.

I was 2 hours away from home with hubby yesterday when I remembered it was "24" day. I kept insisting I had to be home to see "24".....he gave me this "What......are you (expletive deleted) KIDDING me?" look for most of the day.

And no Michael Shanks either! Maybe next week.......

My husband watches 24 with me but he is obviously not as into it as I am. He's always doing silly stuff like still putting our kids in bed at about 8:58pm on Mondays so I have to remind him to get down to the family room to watch TV! He's so irresponsible!!!
(You know, if you ever miss an episode, you can watch them again on the Fox website. I just found that out last week.)

I thought it was a great episode! So what is this that Ms is going to be on next week????? that would be great. Had to play alittle bit of catch up to get ready for this episode as a week ago i had no clue at all who audrey was.

OK, so I'm a little bit disappointed in this week's episode. I thought things were picking up with only 6 hours to go....they must be saving it for something really HUGE!! (I hope.)

Tonight's show started with Ricky Schroder taking a page from the Jack Bauer school of vehicle acquisition by causing several near collisions and then car-jacking some poor schmuck's car and leaving him in the streets of Los Angeles to fend for himself.

Then, Bill inexplicably called Chloe out of the penalty box to help capture Jack of all people. Hello? Does Bill really think Chloe is going to turn on the man of her dreams?

Bill: "Chloe, can I trust you to help us catch Jack?"
Chloe: "Yes.....until Jack calls me and wants me to help him escape again."
Bill: "Fair enough. Get back to work."
Morris: "So, Chloe I thought you got put in the penalty box for helping your boyfriend."
Chloe: "Oh shut up, Morris."
Morris: "Oh, so now it's do this Morris, do that Morris, is there anything you don't want me to do?"
Chloe: "Yes. Don't arm nuclear bombs for terrorists!" <---actual line
Morris: "WAAAAAhhhhh!!!!"
Chloe: "Big baby."
Morris: "Bill, I want to request a transfer."
Bill: "Do you realize its 12:30 in the morning?"
Morris: "Yes. Figure out where you want me and I'll go."
Bill: "How about ladies' shoes?"
Morris: "WAAAAhhhhh!!!!"

Meanwhile back at the White House:

Tom: "Mr. acting President, I don't believe conspiracy and perjury are acts befitting the President of the United States."
VP: "Tom....where the heck have you been?"
VP: "Ummm, Invasion girl...."
IG: "Yes?"
VP: "Do you want to do it in the oval office?"
IG: "OK, but first let me go home to pick up a change of clothes....and hopefully Michael Shanks."
VP: "By all means. GRRRrrrrrrr."

New guy sitting around Karen's office: "Hey Karen, how's things?"
Karen: "Fine. Have you been talking to Chad Lowe?"
NGSAKO: "Yup. He said you covered something up for Bill."
Karen: "Dang! Was it something to do with Fayed....or his country?"
NGSAKO: "Yup. You better fire him."
Karen: "OK."

Ring ring----
Bill: "Hello?"
Karen: "Hi honey."
Bill: "What's up?"
Karen: "You're fired."
Bill: "WHAT???"
Karen: "Its OK, I still love you. By the way some guards will be escorting you out to maximize your embarrassment. Smooches."
Bill: "I'll show them! I'll put Nadia in charge!!"

Bill: "Nadia. I'm out. You're in charge."
Nadia: "But didn't I just start here? Aren't Chloe and Milo ahead of me in the line?"
Bill: "Yes. This should add a bit of drama for the next 5 hours or so."
*knock knock*
Nadia: "Yes?"
Morris: "Pardon me, madame. Would you like to buy some shoes?"

Meanwhile back with Jack:

Jack told Cheng to meet him in an old motel and then set up his bomb. Ricky Schroder, who was looking for a place to flop for the night, spotted Jack's truck at the motel and of course screwed everything up. That's what you get for hiring child actors....they have no concept of Jack Bauer and his explosive capabilities.

CTU: "What's going on?"
Ricky: "I just screwed everything up! Cheng is getting away."
Helicopter: "We can see Cheng heading North!"
Jack: "Argh! Ricky you idiot I was going to blow up Cheng and me!"
Ricky: "Oh. Sorry."
Helicopter: "Aaahhh! We just got shot by a bazooka or something! We're going down!"
CTU: "Try to land on Cheng!" <----line provided by my husband
Audrey: " "
CTU: "Ricky, do something right for a change and arrest Jack."
Jack (looking at Audrey scratching herself): "Hmm. Must be fleas."

Next week: Hopefully better than this week.

Yikes.....everybody's having personal problems. Chloe and Morris....Karen and Buchanan.....even Jack and Audrey! (poor Audrey is all messed up) Ick.....did we have to see Mr. Acting President and Invasion lady? Hurry up to the rescue, Michael Shanks!
