yeah soon as i wrote it i realised that but you could get some cool graphics with it. imagine every time the plasma cannons shoot the water explodes into steam and the explosions sending huge shock waves across the sea flaw

maybe a shark is about to eat a fish then the shock wave saves it lol

But there is a huge difference between the pure internal consuption of water by organics (drinking) and the absolutely vaster amount used by all the additional functions of water.

both will be killed.

fish are very vulnerable to shockwaves. hence "fish in a barrel". you don't even have to hit the fish in the barrel in order to kill it
