Places you would like to see a space battle

Space, intergactic space, void between galaxies...eh...may seem boring but imagine that the two fighting are 2 ten million light years tall mechs which use drills for weapons and chuck galaxies like shuriken

i do love large ship + atmosphere but fighter dogfights FTW

ill try and get a video of this level someone made for a game i play basicly it has you dogfighting underground in mining tunels and sewage vents aswell as through a small city

Oh another intresting place was the flax in farscape and the ship graveyard in far scape also

personally, id like to see a planet vs. planet battle. there are powerful planet based weapons, lets see em in use besides defending.

How about a Space Battle through Universes?

Like the AU Daedalus' Universe Drive, but have it on the enemy ships too. So they jump in and out of different Universes, attacking eachother?

that would be just like a BSG battle with everyship having FTL as say a fighter pilot or gunner you wouldn't really notice much diference

it is possible at any moment to fire missiles.

however, it'll take a long time for the missiles to reach. the defender merely needs to build and fire a laser and they're done.

well, maybe if the missile has a Vasimr drive

That is anime for you no limits.

FS2 had some epic battles one was a nebulae so ionised you needed AWACS ships to navigate was awesome once you got used to it.

I do love the abstract settings i hope the destiny has some unusual ones

in this game the space stations are built within groups of asteroid meaning capship have to stand off a few KM and let the fighters and bombers do alot of the work its like carier warfare at point blank range
