Places you would like to see a space battle

Battle of geonosis? kinda just needed more air suport and more confedarcy ships fighting.

I don't know if this has been in any tv show it probably has been
but i'd love to see a battle above and in a city. Like above NYC or something? With a 304 and an enemy ship fighting it out with the 304 having to dodge the odd taller building while the other ship just crashes through them
and dog fighting between the buildings. that'd be cool.
it's in no way a space battle but yeah.
or it could just be an enemy ship above the city with the fighters still going around and a 304 firing down from orbit and every now and then hitting a building. death and destruction majorly for us but still it'd look ace!

any one ever read the Xwing books the escape of the lysankya was a bit like that except it was an escape more than a battle the ship was buried under the city

that's the only illustration though but it had to run a small fleet and defence satellites aswell as the multi kilometer tall builldings

and yeah it could fly higher but it wouldn't look as cool.

a 304 is hundreds of meters long and wide. it would be suicide and genocide to fly straight through a city.

what if one of it's engines was taken out when it came under attack, the thing started crashing, and in your scene, the ship tries to land, comes in low, and while being fired upon and firing upon an enemy chasing, the 304 flies and half-crashes through the city, finally plunging and landing in a large lake or even the ocean.

that'd work and look ace! It could come over nyc and take out the top of some buildings before crashing through or by the statue of liberty and ending up in the ocean.
Yeah it's taking out something pretty iconic, but if it was in a fanfic and earth then got occupied it'd work quite well.
the symbol for freedom and democracy being taken out just before the planet looses that.

the ship itself would be largely fine, the asgard shield can take a lot. also, the ID's will stop alot of damage.

yeah, even without the shields it should mostly be able to stand up to crashing into a few buildings. It's armour should be strong enough to stop most of them.

grounded ship vs. grounded ship fighter battle

I have a video of that some place kinda one isnt quite grounded but its hovering low behind some hill the other ship is docked in a mining city tthe city defences cant hit the oposite side of the hills so fighters are deployed through valleys through mine shafts and through a debris feild above the hills tis epic

the city has huge fixed beam cannons and loads and loads of anti air/anti msile the attacking cap ship is escorted by corvettes covered in flack so missiles are fired they just don't tend to hit hence fighters and bomber are deployed and that who you control

Dogfighting in tunnels is awesome
