        What about B5 Whitestar now that was afight but I guess you might see it as a Gunship .

        It was manuevable fast had it's on Hyperdrive ,Bio organic Armored hull .A main pulse canon in front of it . twin Pusle canons and carried to Mimbari fighters in it's bay .

        But it 's to big to be a fighter though but was a good ship.

          the whitestar was a class ship. beautiful design. great weapons and capable of creating is own hyperspace window. ((most other ships in B5 needed jump gates.))

                  Delta Flyer.

                  It is manueverable, has warp and impulse which is better than basically all other fighters in other Sci fi barring ones with hyperdrive.

                  Weapons are borg inspired energy weapons and torpedos easily outmatching other fighters and it's shields are strong enough thanks to Borg engineering curtesy of 7 of 9 to withstand several Torpedo impacts atleast several hundred megatons a piece.

                  It's not really a fighter but it's the best IMO if i had a choice about which one to fly it would be the Delta Flyer if only it had hyperdrive.

                        I'd have to say the Jedi starfighter as seen in Revenge of the Sith in a black or blue model, please. It's light, maneuverable and has a pretty smart onboard droid. In the SW Battlefront 2 game, it also has some small, heat seeking missiles that are released in swarms, making it ideal for taking out other small craft. Other than that fighter, my favorite would have to be the X-Wing. It's fast, durable and damn good looking
