Ok great news tomorow is the release!!! i'm really excited about this, the shop is up even if it aint pretty at the moment its functional and i'm undercutting most store by at least 50p per pack (not to mention the other savings and singles that i'm seeling for a great price)

Right got them in this morning (darn bank holiday!) i have 90% of the cards in single's i'm only missing about 10 rares so chances are i'll have the ones you want in i only have 1 booster box left but i will be able to get more later this week if sales go well. also full UR sets are only £20 this week for gateworld forum members only (i'll set up a special paypal button for people via email if they mention gateworld in their order)

Wooo! The game finally came in to my store! I resisted playing the online beta, simply because I never would have gotten any work done, but now the wait is over.

Only played one game so far, but s'pretty cool... only thing is, I picked up both an O'Neil deck and a Teal'c deck, and both of them came with the same 4 team-characters. Oh well, I'll pick up some boosters for more character variety.

I bought a booster box, got a complete common set, all 6 UR's + 2 doubles, all Uncommons but 1, and some good rares, including O'Neill, Teal'c, Jackson, Carter, Frasier, Hammond, Apophis, and Anubis.

Notable rares I am still missing are both Thors, McKay, and Jacob and Baal

All in all, not a bad box at all. Got the core SGC, plus the two big baddies and Weir.

Does anyone know if the starters are randomized at all? I can tell there's definitely some precon going on, but are they all completely preconstructed? and if so, does anyone know why the Oneil and Tealc decks come with the same team characters?

Also, is there a way to get more mission cards? The boosters don't seem to come with any, as I thought they might.

Between my friends and I, we have all of the starters, but the Daniel Jackson deck just seems to be unstoppable, and the Carter deck impossible. Jackson's missions just seem completely optimized, and Carters are all at the more difficult end of the spectrum.
