[Staff Office]
Julianna felt her mouth open involuntarily at the shocking news that Steven had been the one to punch Gus. Somewhere at the back of her mind she had a feeling that was what the CMO was going to say, but she was still suprised. "You mean, Steven did this barely 24 hours after extensive brain surgery! I guess we can ignore all those complaints about how much pain he's experiencing." She shook her head briefly recovering from her initial reaction to the news. "Sorry, Gus. Guess, I'm just not quite sure how to deal with this yet." The doctor said quietly.
Julianna sighed and offered the other doctor a half smile when he brought up the very subject that she hoped he would forget. "I know I should be. But you know that I can barely stay out of here for more than a couple hours without going crazy. Everytime I do leave, my head just stays in here." The woman tilted her head from side to side a few times, trying to relieve some of the tension in her neck, suddenly realizing just how tired she was feeling. She reached one hand around the back of her neck to massage at a praticularly sore place, and continued. "Captain Bystronski is back there fighting for her life. We owe it to her to try and figure out what's wrong, and try to fix it. I mean, these readings are....puzzling, to say the least." Julianna indicated the file on top of her desk with a wave of her hand.
