-1 for no mention of Capt. Sisko. He was the best captain. I agree with most of your reasons but their are a few not included that I liked. The morality grayness of DS9 was a huge draw for me. In the Pale Moonlight is my favorite episode of DS9 for example

You DO realize, Jel, that I'm also a huge DS9 fan.....

I love DS9 too, it is my favourite Star Trek series with TNG second. Kira and Beverly Crusher are my favourite characters from each.

Cool, kirsten! My 2nd favourite would probably be Enterprise....and trust me, I KNOW that I'm in a minority there. TNG isn't bad, just a little too perfect.
