Hi, I've been gone for a week, and during that time I got a warning for having a signature that was too big. My Dragon Cave dragons grew up during that week, so I assume that was the problem, but I've also heard some people say that my siggie stretches the thread for them a little. But when I right-click "properties" it says that it's 700 pixels wide. Others get another number. So I'm looking for a second opinion: is it within the rules? ( They might have been viewing a cached version, which was bigger, but that should be fixed now after over a week. )

Okay......I have a stupid question.
I am on dial-up first off. I usually go to the John Sheppard Whump/Thunk threads. On occasion, some of the pages have been slow to load but they do eventually load. These threads have been known to be picture intensive, especially the Thunk thread. I understand that and am glad to wait.
That being said, I have been having oodles of problems with getting the Jared Padalecki thread. Today I waited 10 minutes and the thing never did load. Does the thread have bones that need to be salted and burned? LOL Does my slow computer? Will finding the Colt solve this problem?
Ack. Damn dial up.

Are you sure its not your dial up? I just tried the thread in question and it took longer the average thread on my high speed DSL. So with in that considereation I would wager that the thread is pic heavy. And we all know how long a lot of pics can have on dial up. If not I would clean out your browsing history and see what happensOriginally posted by aretood2Jelgate is right

I have noticed some threads loading slower today. It's possible the thread has an ad that is slow loading today or maybe that thread has a lot of posts with dragons or sigs from the clintonio site.
I finally blocked the dragon site, I got too tired of those slowing down the pages (and I'm on DSL). I seriously considering blocking the images from the clintonio site too although I like seeing all the different sigs.sigpic
