I have been too busy yhe last weeks, can you tell me why is the thread "When will Season 4 Air" closed??

I couldn't tell you why, but my guess would be that the question was probably answered, thus the thread had no further purpose.

I'll answer that.

I know the "when will Season 4" question will pop up a lot, so I asked if a mod could sticky those threads at the top of the forum, so people will stop making extra threads about it.

Why was the thread closed? Well, what was the point of keeping it open? No one yet knows when the premiere date will be so all that the thread would generate is a lot of whining, speculation and wrong information which could confuse people. And then there'd be angry replies to the wrong info.

Once a date is confirmed a moderator will open the thread and post the date. And then probably close the thread again.

Does the PM box ever increase past 100 messages?
And
Is there a way to attach previous attachments to a post (apart from turning it into a url link)?

as pg15 said, it was closed because 1-2 threads a DAY would pop up aasking the same unanswerable question. so it was closed and stickied in the hopes that folks would read it, see that we have no idea when s4 will air, and move on without starting a thread or ten about the topic

i am sure that it will be GW news when skiffy announces the premiere date

Can I just point out how distracting the "Your PM box is x% full" notice is. I know, I kinda worked that out from the total PM number.

Can't say I've noticed. Don't think I've ever had more than a dozen PMs in storage at any one time.

re: the premiere day, I'm pretty sure the thread isn't going to be updated until an actual, confirmed date is announced. "Oh, some time in Month X" will probably be even more aggravating to questioners than "we don't know yet."

i agree. if you had threads that said one date then another a few days later popping up saying another date it gets really annoying. its the same on Bungie.net. When Halo 2 was being developed the Public forums where full of threads saying a date for release. it got very annoying trauling through hundreds of threads to find one you want.

Do you mean down in the Quick Reply area? If so then you have to click on a QR button (in the bottom right corner of each post, next to the Quote and muti-quote buttons) to activate that section. Don't be embarrased - it took me a long time figure that out myself.
