How do you check this out on a text sig? I know how to do it with a picture, but the previous poster had just text and smilies.

what i like to do is put this image side by side someones sig and see if it lines up within the allowed limilts



if your sig fits within this image your fine if it doesn't if it is taller then the example then your sig violates the forums rules and needs to be changed

also lengh applies to if your sig is longer then the above there your sig needs to be changed

Yeah, I remember going to GateWorld on one of the graphic design computers in my school's multimedia lab. The monitors were absolutely huge, but the Forum was still 800x600 and it looked tiny in the middle of the screen.

Use a ruler.

Or take a picture of your screen with your sig in it (Alt-Print Screen for PCs) take it to some Photo-editing software and crop the image to show your sig only, and then you'll if within the limits.
