I think it might be a mix of these 2..

-he's aboard a ship. a fully-powered one. it broke down due to an error or something, according to our scientists. IMO it screams "Browns touched the wrong button" to me. Telford undoes their damage, ship catches up to Destiny, and well, he's back.

-it's a gate-building ship. it has LOTS of stargates. and LOTS of power. he can just dial another gate, and do the Lost trick all over again. there probably are kino's on the ship.

I hope he does indeed appear again; and not in a flashback or deus machina this is how we got here type thing; I mean i do love those and alternate reality episodes...but would like to
see the character again in the original timeline.

I want to see what he is up to. His "put me in coach" and his pep talk to young reeked of falsehood. And his comment that "he tried" what was that? Just a general comment?

Being he is on a ship that MAKES them it is imo reasonable to assume it has the dialers.

If he manages to get back, it better not happen with gate hopping nor getting taken to an alien ship like Rush was. Right now I don't see it happening, tho.
