    No more public then Rush. And furthermore their have been 4 missions. Not a lot of chance to rotate offworld trips
    None of that is true for Eli. Young's big line is just being some kind of threat, ask Telford about that.
    Telford had nothing to do with threating Young's leadership. It was purely personal.

    Because he was so serious about that

      And the only civs that have any reason to be offworld are the Scientists... so not a lot of option to get her there.

      Personal or Business - doesn't matter the same rule applies.

      We don't know he wasn't. His actions since kind of lend credence to the fact that he was serious.

          Depends purely on the situation. I could of seen a rational of having Wray going off worlld with the Justice planet in the event they opened the alien ship, Could be benefical to have a diplomatic figure and Wray is about as close you get

          It makes all the difference. The reason behind and the actions itself were completly different.

            As I said, there hasn't been a lot of reason to get her off world. I didn't say there wouldn't ever be a reason.

            No it doesn't, because the reasons were exactly the same. The person in question threatened something her believed is his/himself so he took justice into his own hands and dealt with it.

            The fact that he does it in his personal life and his work life just speaks for his character.

              Actually Jel, Telford posed a risk whe he tried to assume command of Destiny in Youngs body. A'd consider that a threat.

                And yet he did nothing about that. Kind puts a flaw in the concept that Young will attack anyone who tries to take his power

                  Er...he was kept away from the Stones! And he did, in the end, manage to get back, didn't he? What are you raving on about?

                    That you have to cross a pretty big line to do what Young did to Rush and that he is not a crazy hothead out to get anyone who threatens his command

                      And yet there's two examples of him threatening people who did just that:
                      * Rush in Justice
                      * Wray in Light.

                        I don't take the Wray thing seriously. Its a point to show that everyone should have a fair chance to be in the lottery.

                          No, it was Young asserting his power saying "if you don't like it, I can take away your chance at survival." He didn't like being challenged, even though it was warranted.

                            It's an example of bullying behaviour whether he meant it or not.

                              You don't know that for a fact

                              Thats just the military. They make threats to their subordinates all the time to get them in line. Doesn't mean they were serious
