Oh that's why the episode we got now wasn't as good. Using them and cutting out the Eli/Rush thing would've made the episode ten times better in my eyes. But nope... Mallozzi filling too many plots in means we must get rid of the emotional actual character development plot!

Old news was cutting those scenes. What they really were about... not so much.

I could go on, and I already have in other places. Good episode but not great and not very SGU-y. Mallozzi's SGU writing strikes again.
