The more i hear of the cast... the more my fewars and concerns are chipped away...I'm still not 100% sold on SG:U.... but i'm looking forward to it now....

Now, when will we first see 'The Destiny'?

It is nice to finally know who all the major players for Universe are. Adding Lou Diamond Phillips, even if it is briefly, is great too.

All we need is Keifer and Emilio to show up and they can have a "Young Guns" tribute episode.

If he going to be left anywhere it either going to be the Icarus base or their first off world adventure, where he will be left behind holding off the enemy why the rest of the team escape and get back on the destiny just before its jumps.

This also set up the mystery of what happen to him and if he survives and going to make it back to the destiny.

Well, we don't know if LDP is going to be recurring or a guest, and we don't know if Ming-Na is going to be a regular or recurring, so it would be hard to do that.

I'm like 100% certain that Justin Louis is a regular. Maybe 99.9%

Yep, age is a non-issue. I'm less than impressed with Elyse Levesque, but that has more to do with her resume than her age. The rest of the cast is looking good.

To me her resume does not look any worst than Micheal shanks when he started SG1, or Amanda tapping for that matter neither of them did anything special before they signed on SG1. Neither of them really done anything major.

True, her resume is not impressive at the moment, but she is my age (23) and has had small roles in things since 2001. Everyone has to start somewhere. And when you think about it, when SGU is finished, she'll have a starring role in a popular sci fi series on her resume. That makes it more impressive.

They didn't have much in the way of film credits, but they both had university degrees in theatre. That kind of training makes a big difference in terms of skill and characterization.
