Here's an idea:
Put some Nox some powerful warships, ship them off and have the Nox cloak them (because it seems like they're actually also phasing them out, preventing them from getting harmed).

Then sporadically unphase, fire, phase, unphase, fire. 10 days later, the Ori shields might've been depleted.

It was most probably before leaving for Pegasus. What, they built the device, then left for Pegasus, leaving a few immune people behind? And then millions of years later, said immune people use the weapon?

Besides, the Ancient race was dead in the Milky Way 10,000 years ago.

Jim/ Anubis talked in Threads about a "million odd years of evolution", suggesting it was a million years since the Ancients set up the device.

However, considering the Gate network in the MW is 50 million years old and the Ancients are much older - and that it took them so long to reach the biological stage of ascnesion, a stage the Nox, while not quite there, are pretty obviously close to... I'd give them more than a million years.

Does anyone know how long ago it was since the Ancients used the Dakara weapon to reseed life? Because if it was only ten thousand years ago or something, then the Nox would most likely have originated elsewhere.

well Daniel said in Rising pt 1 that the Ancients left earth around 5-10 million years ago with Atlantis because of the plague. So i just assumed the weapon on dakara was constructed and used around that time.

Actually it is likely they created it after they returned to Earth after their defeat by the Wraith.
